Brussel sprouts in the air fryer is probably the vegetable I make the most often. It’s one of my favorite ways to cook them and get them nice and crispy. Sometimes I eat these air fryer Brussel sprouts plain on their own but many times I add bacon or balsamic glaze. Maybe even a little goat cheese when I'm feeling fancy. This recipe for air fryer brussel sprouts is low carb and can be made paleo and Whole30 as well! After trying these, you will finally be excited to eat your veggies!
The air fryer is easily my favorite way to heat up most things honestly! Some other recipes you can check out that I've used my air fryer for are kale chips , buffalo chicken tenders, buffalo cauliflower and fish sticks! I also like to put chicken wings in there after the oven to add even more crisp! You can even use your air fryer to make toast!

For these air fryer brussel sprouts you really only need a few things.
How To Make Brussel Sprouts in the Air Fryer
Step One: Prep the brussel sprouts by cutting the ends and then splitting them in half. Bonus - this also helps with meal prep and saves time during the week so I can just toss them into the air fryer or oven when I’m ready to cook them.
Step 2: Add your sliced sprouts to the air fryer basket and spray them with a little avocado oil spray making sure they are pretty evenly covered. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper at this point.
Step 3: Air fry at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes for the perfect crispy air fryer brussel sprouts! Air fryer cooking times vary so make sure to keep an eye on your sprouts but checking them after about 7-8 minutes.
Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts Variations
Variation 1:
Adding crumbled bacon and aioli sauce for dipping is the perfect accent to these brussel sprouts! To make an aioli, I simply mix about ¼ cup of mayo with fresh lemon juice and some salt and pepper. It's super easy! I love using the flavored mayo from Primal Kitchen Foods to add even more flavor to the sauce.
The pesto mayo and the rosemary garlic are perfect for this! This variation is paleo, low carb and Whole30 compliant with the Primal Kitchen Mayo and a no sugar-added bacon. For no sugar bacon, I recommend Applegate, Pederson's Farms or Tender Belly.
Variation 2:
Add crumbled bacon, a drizzle of balsamic glaze and goat cheese. Note: This version is not paleo or Whole30 compliant due to the goat cheese.
Another great variation is to add a little Parmesan cheese and garlic powder for crispy garlic parmesan brussel sprouts!
