Chicken salads are one of my favorite things to whip up when I need a quick meal that I don’t actually have to cook. This recipe for bacon ranch chicken salad is a super delicious and satisfying meal with one of my favorite flavor profiles. I mean what’s not to love about chicken bacon and ranch?! My chicken bacon ranch skillet and chicken bacon ranch sheet pan have the same mix of flavors and they are two of my favorite recipes! This recipe is also dairy-free, paleo and keto friendly AND Whole30 compliant. It's the perfect healthy no-cook meal for any time of day.

Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad Preparation and Serving Suggestions
This chicken salad recipe is so easy to make! You’ll start by cooking your bacon in a skillet. While that’s cooking you can chop and prepare your red onion and celery. When your bacon is cool enough to handle, crumble it into small pieces and then mix your mayo, dill and ranch together with a fork. Once all your ingredients are prepped and chopped the rest is just a matter of mixing it all together in a large mixing bowl. Easy peasy! I also recommend storing in the refrigerator for a but to allow the flavors to meld together.
You can eat this bacon ranch chicken salad on its own, in a lettuce wrap or serve it with bell peppers for crunch. This recipe is meant to be Whole30 compliant but if you’re not on a round, it goes great with some crackers or with bread as a sandwich. This chicken salad tastes great the next day so it's a great meal prep option also when stored in an airtight container!
