It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeeeeaaaar!!!  I seriously look forward to the Nordstrom anniversary sale every single year. I save up for it and it's one of the only times I let myself go a little wild with shopping. It's like an athletic event. I need comfortable shoes, snacks and plenty of water for hydration. And then some wine to relax after.  My friend and I were seriously sweating as we battled the crowds with all our bags. I'm not really a fashion type of blogger but when I posted that I was shopping on my Instagram account, I got so many requests to see what I picked up.  So, I will be sharing my 2018 Nordstrom anniversary sale picks!

I went shopping earlier today and I am actually typing this up at midnight while everything is fresh in my mind.  Plus I think I'm just all amped up on a shopping high! lol First I'm going to show you what I actually purchased and then show some other things I really love but I couldn't bring myself to buy because I had other things that were similar.  See, I do have SOME self control.

My Purchases

I go a little nuts during the this sale and buy way more than I really need. But shopping only for what you really need kinda sucks the joy out of the anniversary sale doesn't it?! 😉 I'm really excited about the Spanx items since I haven't really purchased anything from that brand before and I always hear great things.  Same thing with the Barefoot Dreams cardigan.  I've been eyeing it for so long.  It's such a cute thing to throw over some simple leggings and booties.  I love the style of it and it's seriously the softest thing ever!

More Fun Picks

These are things I saw at the sale and loved but didn't end up purchasing.  Mainly because I had other things that were similar but others I didn't buy simply because I was trying to adult at least a little. I actually went back for the sneakers and they were already sold out. I guess it's a sign.

Since the hubby didn't wanna be left out, he sat on the couch with me over a glass (or two) of wine and decided he also "needed" some new stuff. These were some of the things we picked out for him.  Online ordering is the best! And the worst.

Overall I am happy with my purchases and I can't wait to put everything to good use. The 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary sale did not disappoint! What are you planning on picking up this year?!
